My 2nd graders use i-Ready in the classroom. It’s a fantastic program but motivators are needed in order for lessons to be completed/worked on. So, to help with this – I’ve implemented a few things. In this post, I want to talk about the certificates. The i-Ready certificates help tremendously as each of my students look forward to receiving after passing a designated number of lessons. To make it way easier for myself, (and at the same time – also being good about giving my kiddos immediate feedback/rewards) I hand out certificates in increments of 10 (10, 20, 30, 40…..). This makes it simple and allows me to keep track.
